CDI COUNTER

Surge counter model CDI-250 has no direct contact with elements of the lightning protection system. It allows monitoring of cumulative stress to the LPS and coordination of an effective maintenance and replacement programme cannot be reset.

INSTALLATION

The counter is installed on the grounding system at a place where an impulse current of more than 250A is likely to occur, for example between the SPD and the bonding bar. The grounding wire is passed through the counter. The counter does not require a battery or power supply and is maintenance free. The CDI-250 can be installed on a DIN rail or attached directly to a flat surface using screws. The counter can accommodate grounding 2 wires of up to 100 mm

JEF offers carbon-based Maintenance-free Backfill compounds and Mineral-based chemical Backfill compounds to suit specific applications and conform to standards like IS 3043, BS7430, IEEE: 80 etc. The backfill compounds supplied by us are compatible with all types of grounding systems, enabling the use of copper and copper bonded steel rods or strip electrodes to suit the terrain and space restrictions.
